BIOGRAPHY

Ferhat Bouda grew up as a part of the Kabyle minority in Algeria. In 2000 he moved to France to get the chance to show his grandmother and other people of his region, who only speak the Berber language, the world "beyond". His original idea was to make a movie in his native tongue...

2000 - Finding a photo camera in Paris

2001 - Phtographing fellow countrymen in France

2002 to 2004 - Visiting the EFET, a school for photographers, Paris

2004 - First exibition in Paris

2005 - Moving to Frankfurt am Main, first reportage about Punks

2007 - Work order by the Office of Multicultural Affairs, Frankfurt am Main

2008 bis 2009 - Different photo work (Punks, Celebration of the Nations, Mongolia, Algeria)

2010 - Member of the Frankfurter Presseclub , Contract with dpa, miscellaneous exibitions
